Oasis Launches New Range in India, Appoints Indian Agent - 27 Mar, 2009

India, New Delhi

Ball valve manufacturer Oasis Engineering has launched a new range of products at NGV India 2009 in Delhi this week, showcasing their new high flow three way valve along with newly released priority panels and dispenser manifolds. Managing Director, Andy Cameron says the three way valve offers a revolution in refuelling, available in 3/8” or 1/2” sizes and targeted at the bus and truck fill applications. Currently being field tested in Thailand, Cameron says the product has already generated a lot of interest from dispenser manufacturers.

Cameron says the new three way has been released in conjunction with a totally new concept in priority panels and dispenser manifolds. Using the standard Oasis floating ball valve, the concept is designed to be “plug and play”, serviceable within 5 minutes and maintain the highest flow concepts. Says Cameron, “Independent testing is showing flow rates in excess of 100 Kg’s of gas per minute with a pressure drop of less than 15 PSI. This will give dispenser and compressor companies the technology to meet the world trend in high volume high flow requirements for bus and truck applications."

Oasis also announced the appointment of its Indian distributor, Tulsa Gas Technologies India. TGT India has used the show to release a 4 hose dispenser targeted exclusively at the Tuk Tuk market (see separate NGV Global article). Core to the new dispenser base will be the Oasis ball valve technology.
