Key Events in the Oasis Ball Valve Story

1982 Oasis Engineering asked by NZ Fasteners to make a small 3/8” and ½” ball valve to isolate
gas dispensing hose.

1984 Caltex adoptes Oasis Ball Valves as standard in all NZ stations.

1985 Produced BV500 series in ¼ to 1 inch. Allowing dispensing at 3600psi.

1990 Independently verified design criteria with NZ DSIR (Government Agency).

1992 First export orders. Pakistan and Argentina take shipments. Packaged with compressor equipment to Bangladesh, Korea, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

1992 Exports to Europe as dispenser components.

2003 Independently verified fire-safe option.

2004 PTT Thailand specifies Oasis Ball valve for all CNG stations.

2004 Oasis Engineering first direct export to Korea.

2005 First direct exports to Argentina.

2005 Supply compressor manufacturer in Italy.

2006 First direct exports to Canada.

2007 Ball valve redesigned to lift operating pressure to 6000 PSI, released as the BV700 Series

2007 Oasis achieves ISO 9001:2000 approval

2007 Oasis commissions in house testing facility

2007 Sign US distribution agency

2008 Range expanded to cover ¼” to 2" full flow ball valve, check valve & couplings

2008 Oasis design team works collaboratively with Canadian trailer manufacturer  to integrate tank filling system into one piece solution.

2008 Release 10,000 PSI ranges of ball valves, the BV800 series

2009 Release patented new design in 3-way forecourt solution

2009 Release new concept in dispenser and priority panel manifolds
