The Oasis TH100 series tank head valve passes ANSI/AGA NGV 3.1 and ISO15500 testing.

Oasis is pleased to announce the recently developed TH104 valve has passed ANSI/AGA NGV 3.1 and ISO15500 testing and is now fully certified for all applications for on-road use in all countries.

The TH104 is a unique product – a quarter turn full port ball valve completely integrated into a cylinder neck fitting. The 13mm bore admits gas into the cylinder without any expansion or contraction through the valve, meaning the gas passes through in clean straight flow lines. A clean flow path means the gas picks up much less friction induced heat leading to cooler more efficient tank filling.

How much does this help, well the TH104 has a Cv of 6.7, compared to the nearest competitor’s Cv of 3. Gas fills quickly and smoothly at up to five times the rate, reducing standing time for the vehicle or trailer. The cooler gas packs better into the receiving vessel (whether precooled or not the gas picks up only a fraction of the frictional heat) filling up to 18% more – less standing time and more kilos per fill - it is a simple as that.

The TH104 admits gas faster and it stays cooler but the benefits do not end there. The valve comes standard with an adjustable SAE neck fitting which means the valve can be positioned independent from the neck thread saving time and hassle during installation. The handle has a number of standard configurations and has link up options so that a daisy chain opening rod can be used.
